“A blend of cabernet sauvignon 37%, petit verdot 21%, merlot 20%, syrah 7%, cabernet franc 6%, tannat 6%, viognier and kolor 3%. Intense, fine-grained wine with a mix of spice, berry and oak flavours that are challenging to analyse and describe. A firmly structured wine with dusty tannins promoting a slightly grippy finish. Needs time.” – Bob Campbell MW

5 Stars - Michael Cooper. The distinctive 2015 vintage is a single-vineyard blend of eight varieties – principally Cabernet Sauvignon (38 per cent), Petit Verdot (21 per cent) and Merlot (20 per cent), plus much smaller portions of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Tannat, Viognier and Kolor. Matured for 16 to 20 months in all-new French oak barriques, it is deeply coloured, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet. Mouthfilling, it has concentrated blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, with a vague hint of liquorice, refined tannins, excellent complexity and harmony, and a smooth finish. Drink now or cellar. This wine is a Potential Classic.
