93/100 Bob Campbell MW. "A blend of eight varieties. Lighter than later vintages and quite supple with blueberry, raspberry, spice, floral, pepper and a suggestion of dried herb flavours supported by bright acidity." Bob Campbell MW.
5 stars - Michael Cooper. The highly concentrated 2012 (5*) is a blend of eight varieties, with a ‘core’ of Cabernet Sauvignon (35 per cent), Merlot (20 per cent) and Petit Verdot (20 per cent), plus minor portions of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Tannat, Viognier and Koler. Matured for two years in all-new oak barriques, it is bold, deeply coloured, mouthfilling and firm, in a ‘masculine’ style, with dense, ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours. It should flourish for a decade.
